Grade 1 Online Music Lesson

Our Goal(s): 

  • LISTENTo learn about the history of St. Patricks' Day and its place in the Irish Culture.

  • WATCH & MOVE:To learn the proper way of dancing part of the traditional Irish Jig and teach it to your family members.

  • WATCH & LISTENTo hear what a tradition Irish Jig sounds like and pat the steady beat along with the music.

  • SING: To listen and learn to sing a song in the traditional Irish language- Gaelic. 

What We Need:

  • Chromebooks or iPad or any digital device 

  • Speakers

  • Gym shoes or dance shoes with socks

  • Our hands

  • Any percussion musical instruments you have in the house (if you don't have any, you can find a bucket and turn it upside down and use it as a drum.)

  • Our voice
